I spent Sunday evening on a phone call doing leadership training for a group of network marketers. I was explaining to them the ins and outs of the Law of Attraction, energy and why understanding it would assist in their business and in their life. For me it was an important talk. I want everyone to understand their personal power. But, of course, I have no way of knowing how well received the information was. I went to sleep hoping I had affected some people in a positive way.
The next morning I got a FaceBook message from someone who had been on the phone call. D is a great guy. He’s friendly, outgoing and quite directed in his life. His message said, “Tam, help me with my goals.”
Together we worked out an action plan. It involved goal setting, value determination, action steps and writing his perfect day. It was a spirited forty five minute session involving D’s life and his potential resistance. I hoped D had fully understood my message but with no way of knowing I left D and moved onto the rest of my day. And then it happened~
I typically spend the last hour of my day in my home office. I was getting ready to sign off FB for the night but something on the side of my screen caught my eye. It was one of those “suggested friend” things, and there, right before me was the father of the D, guy I had worked with in the morning. I sat there giggling as I looked at D’s father. I said to myself, “Oh my heavens, that is D! They look so much alike.” I sat there in awe of the resemblance of the two men. It was uncanny. It made me smile as I thought of D and what a great guy he is. I giggled some more and then logged off FB.
I was going to leave my office, but I remembered that I was going to drop someone a note via Facebook but I hadn’t done it. I came back to the computer, logged on and TAH-DAH, there in my notifications was a friend request. And guess who sent me that friend request? Right, D’s father! In less than thirty seconds it went to me having my attention on D’s father to D’s father friend requesting me. I sat at my computer laughing out loud.
This was a prime example of how we live within an invisible uber-intelligent energy grid and the instant that we produce a thought, a result is created. With no resistance, we can see the result of our thoughts instantaneously. My energy toward my friend’s father and in return his father’s thoughts in my direction was intense enough that one of us took action and made a reality. Powerful.
For me, because I believe that everything happens for a reason, I feel like this occurred to share another example of how LOA truly works. It speaks to energy and to instant creation. It also showed up for me to validate my work so that my own “monkey mind” can break down and my strong, purpose serving thoughts can win the day. We all need and want validation. D’s father inadvertently played his part in the inner game of my life.
Now think about your life conditions. What is NOT showing up for you? If something you want very much hasn’t arrived yet, it simply means there is some resistance. You have practiced a thought or belief that doesn’t serve the creation of that reality. When you sort through what it is that you may be holding onto that is not serving you, begin to practice new thoughts. Begin to believe in a new way.
No other person is responsible for your having or not having that which you want. Choose to change your mind and change your life.
